Alembic Still

Named for the word Arabic Al-anbiq. The Alembic is one of the oldest and simplest pot stills. The fact that it is still in use and is still highly sought after today is testament to functional design.
When distillation was brought from the Arab world to Europe, the name "Alembic" was brought with it.
